Actually, the name of this girl studying in Mahatma Gandhi Memorial College in Manipal, Udupi district of Karnataka is Muskaan. A video that has gone viral on social media showed a group of boys chanting 'Jai Shri Ram' around their first hijab smile and reversing the smile to Allah Hu Akbar.

Muskan studies in this college and she is a student of B.Com. This incident also happened at the same time when she had gone to college for an assignment. After the incident, there is a lot of discussion about Muskaan on social media. People have given different reactions to Muskaan. Muskaan appeared in the top trend for a long time on Twitter. After the incident, Muskaan himself told that when he was continuously raising slogans, he started raising slogans of 'Main Allah Hu Akbar'. Meanwhile, the principal and lecturer also supported us. Muskan said that we used to wear burqa and hijab all the time. I used to wear hijab in class and take off my burqa. Hijab is a part of us. The principal never said anything, outsiders have started it.
Here the reaction has started coming from political parties and other personalities regarding the matter. The Karnataka government and the High Court have appealed to maintain peace. The court is considering one of his pleas for the right of girl students to wear hijab. After the issue turned into a major controversy, the state government announced a three-day holiday for educational institutions across the state.
